About me

Growing up in Eastern Europe in Poland made me believe I can create things out of thin air. During that time, the country was poor and nothing was similar to West Europe. I saw my first Vogue magazine on a trip to London to learn English when I was 18. As a true dreamer, I immediately decided to create a magazine like this in my own country and after a few years, I was amongst the first stylists and fashion editors in Poland. Within the next years I created two magazines, Viva Moda and Hot Moda & Shopping, and played a key role in the fashion department in other publications, such as Polish ELLE.

With online media on the rise, I decided it was time to move on and redesign my career path. I had the opportunity to experience being a creative director at one of the biggest Polish fashion companies, TATUUM. In this role I discovered what skills I needed to learn to be able to expand my career opportunities over the world. As a courageous individual, I went back to studying and I am now a fresh graduate of the Bachelor in Branded Fashion Design. I chose to study in Melbourne because Australia seemed to be the best place to open my fashion horizons and to feel a modern fashion aesthetic. Whilst my former education and experience has given me a strong understanding of fashion history and appreciation for the classics, Melbourne has made my creative heart young again. Now I am ready to re-design not only fashion, but also my future career path into new creative industries.
